LRC vision

" The LRC is a law centre that seeks creative and effective solutions by using a range of strategies, including impact litigation, law reform, policy change and legislative advocacy, participation in partnerships and development processes, education and networking within and outside Nigeria."

LRC mission

The Legal Resources Consortium (LRC) is a Public Interest Law Centre set up to provide leadership in advancing the rule of law in public policy. The Consortium works with law, including international law, as a tool for ensuring accountable governance, addressing poverty, and empowering local communities.
Through programs of local and regional constituency building, it seeks to legitimize rights afforded under law to claim the promise of international law domestically. For this purpose, the Consortium forges creative partnership with communities and non-governmental groups, governmental and inter-governmental bodies, as well as the business sector.

The LRC works through partnerships, which recognize local communities and the people as the ultimate guarantors and claimants of a society founded on the rule of law.
